MANTA DIVE

Located opposite the beach of Gili Trawangan, an idyllic island north west of Lombok just east of Bali,  the Gili Islands, Trawangan, Meno and Air, are surrounded by white sandy beaches and vibrant clear blue waters. The diving is year round and the fringing coral reefs that surround the Gilis support a phenomenal array of marine life that will captivate scuba divers of all levels.


Accommodation -

Our 8 Sasak style traditional rice barn bungalows are set in peaceful flowered gardens, we
now also have 3 new deluxe pool rooms as well. The natural building materials used are locally sourced and finished to western standards. All our bungalows have Air Conditioning, mini-bar, safety deposit box and luxurious bedding. The contempary Asian fusion concept is completed by the elegant outdoor bathrooms.

Please note; prices are per night, including breakfast but are subject to plus 5% service charge and 10% government tax on top.


Extra bed is Rp.150,000 per night, maximum 1 person per room.

(Please note - high season prices apply also for the times of the Nyepi festival in Bali, Easter break and Idul Fitri at the end of Ramadan. ) 

Manta Dive centre -

Ben and Harriet and our team of multilingual instructors manage the dive shop throughout the year. We offer a wealth of diving experience unequalled in Lombok and the Gilis. Together with our western multi-lingual Instructors and Divemasters we can ensure that dive courses and fun dives are conducted in a safe and enjoyable manner and we are always at hand to help you with anything you may need.

Manta dive is the only Platinum Dive Center and Instructor Training Facility in the region with Instructors qualified to teach both PADI and SSI dive courses. We insist on the best tuition possible so make sure our Instructors are highly qualified.

Manta Dive centre offers a complete range of dive courses from total beginner up to instructor level, as well as organising daily dive trips and night dives.


First Aid: Oxygen kits and botles are always on our boats and in the Dive Center, as is a First Aid kit, supported by our trained staff all have basic First Aid, rescue breathing and CPR qualifications.


Dive Boats: Our "fleet" of two traditional boats with outriggers provides a comfortable ride to the dive sites. For the non-diver you can snorkel, or sunbathe on deck.

Nitrox: Courses and fun dives also available upon request

Photography/Videography: Digital underwater cameras are available to rent for fun divers and also on dive courses or as a speciality course.

Other Activities - 

Our on site swimming pool is not only for learning to dive in, but also available for use by Manta Dive customers to cool down in, or lounge around. We also have hammocks and a large baruga (essentially a chill-out area on stilts) where you can relax, read the paper or play games.


Games: An assortment of board game, Backgammon, chess, cribbage, boules and cards. Complimentary drinking water is included with all courses and fun dives, as is use of the fresh water shower and secure storage.

Massage: From Pak Ali the legendary massage man, available on request in the dive shop or in your room or villa, at very reasonable rates. 60,000rps (approx $7) per hour.

Restaurant -

Manta Cafe, Bar and Restaurant, serves a wide range of Indonesian and western dishes, beer, soft drinks and a nightly fresh fish BBQ.

We are located on the East side of Gili Trawangan, Lombok, just 50m to the left of the harbour, so when you arrive, feel free drop in for a chat over a cold drink, or a refreshing dip in the pool.
